Why advertisement are necessary?
For most of the content creators the advertisement are the only source of income. They earn their living by showing ads in between their contents. One thing you should know is that, no one will provide any thing for free, specially over the internet, They are gonna charge you in one or the other way.
If you see the internet as a whole you'll observe that the internet is only about the content and the advertisement. And people add their content for the earning and advertisement provide them the earnings. So if there is no system of the advertisements then you'll be charged to access every single websites you visit to see the information.
This we can understand by seeing the example. We can see both Netflix and Youtube, the basic purpose of both the platform is same like providing you the medium of entertainment by the visual form that is the videos. On both platforms the creators are paid for their contents. But when it comes to the access the scenario is completely different, You are charged for the access directly on the netflix, but on the Youtube you are charged by seeing advertisement.
If there are no concept of ads, then it will be very costly even to open a website. Or you will get charged for even accessing any web activity apart from the charges of the ISP. We need to understand that advertisement are the only thing which helps us consume our content for free.
